About This Organization
Established in 1986, Community Futures Shuswap was formed to support the emerging business and community-based needs of the region. As part of a larger provincial and national network, Community Futures – Shuswap is an independent organization, locally-governed by a board of directors who volunteer their time, energy and expertise. A team of skilled staff provides a wide range of community economic development and business services. A primary focus of Community Futures Shuswap is to provide availability to financial resources which might not otherwise be available to individuals to start and/or expand a small business within our service delivery region.
