About This Organization
Formerly known as the Greater Victoria Development Agency, the South Island Prosperity Project aims to facilitate and promote the development of a strong, diversified economy on South Vancouver Island, creating a more collaborative region and a vibrant place to work.
Their goals are to:
- Grow household incomes, enabling families to live here comfortably
- Engage First Nations in self-directed economic development initiatives
- Increase the amount of provincial, federal and private funding locally invested
- Build momentum for other economic development projects
