The SBA program, together with Fundica, invites you to the 2014 Funding Roadshow, designed to educate and fund entrepreneurs. The roadshow will be held in 10 Canadian cities, stopping at Vancouver on May 23, 2014.
Format
In each city, 10 seed stage tech entrepreneurs and 10 growth stage tech entrepreneurs will pitch to a panel of eight funders. Each company will have five minutes to present, followed by seven minutes for Q&A. Participating Funders Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), R&D Capital… and more!
Prizes
In addition to funding, the winning pitch entrepreneur in each city will receive round-trip airfare and an opportunity to pitch in front of VCs in San Francisco, a $6,000 value hosting package (courtesy of CANARIE) and a $4,000 value R&D tax credit financing solution (courtesy of R&D Capital). More prizes are to be added.
