Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) BC Region, is one of 10 regional offices in Canada working to fulfill AANDC's mandate. AANDC has primary, but not exclusive, responsibility for meeting the federal government's constitutional, treaty, political and legal responsibilities to First Nations, Inuit and Northerners. Our primary role is to assist First Nations and Inuit in developing healthy, sustainable communities and in achieving their economic and social aspirations.

BC Innovation Council

The British Columbia Innovation Council (BCIC) develops entrepreneurial talent and commercializes technology through startup companies and partnerships between industry and academia. BCIC focuses on competitively positioning British Columbia in today's global knowledge economy in order to provide significant employment opportunities and a high standard of living for British Columbians. BCIC is a Crown agency of the Province of British Columbia.

Centre4Growth

The Centre4Growth is an initiative of the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) and helps  entrepreneurs validate their opportunity, tell their story, make connections and grow their companies.  The CEO-in-Residence program matches entrepreneurs to seasoned tech executives who have earned the scars of success and can help with any business issue.

Centre4Growth is a one-stop resource of complimentary services and programs, available to BC tech entrepreneurs.  The core of Centre4Growth is the CEO-in-Residence program, where entrepreneurs meet for confidential one-on-one coaching sessions with seasoned technology executives (CIRs) to discuss company growth issues.   

Entrepreneurs also have access to support services, including GrowthWorkshops, an E-Library of online resources, Business Opportunities listings, and Business Clinics to assist in the growth of their companies. 

Centre4Growth is made possible through partnerships with the Government of Canada, the Province of British Columbia, and industry.
