AANDC - Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB)

About This Organization

Please note that this website will be changing as a result of the dissolution of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada. The website for AADNC is currently still active. More information can be found at the new Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada Website and Indigenous Services Canada Website.

The PSAB initiative aims to increase federal contracting opportunities and to gain access to the overall federal procurement process for Aboriginal businesses. Since 1996, the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Businesses (PSAB) has been working to create strengthened strategic partnerships between Aboriginal business owners, industry sectors and the Government of Canada.

Aboriginal businesses can increase visibility by registering in PSAB’s Aboriginal Business Directory (ABD). In order to increase procurement opportunities for businesses, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada in collaboration with Industry Canada, maintains an on-line Aboriginal business directory that streamlines and simplifies the PSAB registration process.
