Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA)
The Health Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is responsible for pesticide regulation in Canada. Created in 1995, this branch of Health Canada consolidates the resources and responsibilities for pest management regulation. It works closely with growers of food and non-food crops as well as other commercial users of pesticides, to help meet their needs and priorities for pest management.
