Like networking events? Interested in hearing from successful entrepreneurs and business professionals? Have a burning small business startup question that needs an answer? If you've answered YES to any of these questions we have a great event for you!
In case you haven't heard, SBA will be hosting its first ever Speaker event on October 17 at Robson Square (downtown Vancouver). If you'd like to attend, do yourself a favour and RSVP here sooner rather than later, as seating is filling up fast - over 70 RSVPs in just a few days - guaranteeing a busy night with a diverse audience from the local business community.
The event will feature two of the most engaging speakers you're likely to hear during BDC's Small Business Week this year. Paul Cubbon is a Marketing Instructor at UBC and is a renowned communications and change-management expert. George Moen is a man you may or may not know already, but even it you've never met him in person, chances are you've purchased from his company before (Paul is President of Blenz Coffee) and a life-long serial entrepreneur. These two speakers will kick off the event. Following their talks you'll have a chance to mingle and network with local business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs and other key members of the local business community.
Event starts at 5:30 sharp - be sure to arrive on time for the best seating. Refreshments and snacks will be served after the speaker portions of the event.
